A sunscreen is a formulation that helps shield your skin from the sun's UV rays. Some do this by absorbing UV before it reaches the skin (chemical filters), others by sitting on top and reflecting it (physical filters). Either way, its job is simple: reduce how much UV actually lands on your skin.
Sunrays consist of two types of harmful rays that reach the earth’s surface: ultraviolet A (UVA) rays and ultraviolet B (UVB) rays.
- UVA rays affect the lower layers of the skin and are responsible for the tanning and premature aging of the skin, causing wrinkles and age spots.
- UVB rays affect the top layers of the skin and are the primary cause of sunburn.
UV rays reach your skin every day — even indoors, even when it's cloudy. Over time this shows up as tanning, dark spots, and premature signs of aging. Sunscreen isn't a once-in-a-while thing; it works because it's used consistently, not because it's used perfectly.
- Look for broad spectrum protection — that means coverage against both UVA and UVB, not just one.
- Sun protection factor (SPF) 30 or greater: SPF is a measure of UVB protection.
- Star rating of ***(3) or more: a measure of UVA protection.

Along with our broad-spectrum sunscreen filter blend, it's built on a water-based aqua gel system (DM Water, Aquagel Crosspolymer, Elastomer Gel, Carbomer) for that lightweight, non-sticky finish, plus:
- Niacinamide – supports an even-looking skin tone
- Hyaluronic Acid – helps the skin hold on to moisture
- Kojic Acid Complex – targets the look of dark spots and pigmentation
- White TruAle Extract – a skin-conditioning antioxidant

TAM's texture is closer to a serum than a lotion. As you apply it, you'll feel a light, slippery, hydrating layer — that's not the product sitting idle, it's the moisture soaking into your skin. Use generously — about two finger-lengths for the face and neck — as the last step of your morning routine, every day, rain or shine. Reapply every 2–3 hours if you're out in direct sun for extended periods.

As with any skincare product, mild redness, itching, or irritation is possible, especially on sensitive skin. Discontinue use and consult your dermatologist if irritation persists. Avoid contact with eyes; if it happens, rinse thoroughly with water
Sunscreen works best alongside other habits — seeking shade during peak sun hours (11am–4pm), wearing a hat or umbrella when possible, and reapplying if you're sweating or in water.
